Sports Grounds

Mown with gang or triple mowers these are generally mown every week, but some require cutting twice a week and for others fortnightly visits are suitable.  It depends on the sports played on the area.

Some areas require further treatments such as fertilising, scarifying and aerating which all help promote strong growth and increase the tolerance of the grass to wear.  Pitches heavily used for sports will need more fertiliser than a pitch used occasionally.

Line Marking

Line marking is undertaken using paint supplied by ‘Fleet’ based in Malvern so it complies with all the latest regulations.  We do not mix herbicides with the paint as this can cause problems to those playing on the areas especially if they suffer cuts.  We are able to mark out football, rugby and rounders pitches plus running tracks and sprint lanes.  Actually if you can show us what you want marking out we can probably do it.

GBP operate within about 30 miles of our base near Broadway, Worcestershire. Our area of operation includes:

  • Worcestershire (Worcester, Malvern, Tewkesbury, Pershore, Evesham, Droitwich, Redditch),
  • Warwickshire (Alcester, Studley, Henley-in-Arden, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Shipston-on-Stour, Warwick, Leamington Spa)
  • Gloucestershire (Moreton-in-Marsh, Chipping Norton, Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water, Cheltenham, Winchcombe, Chipping Campden, Broadway).
